Cowbridge teachers and pupils celebrated European Day of Languages 2013 in style with a "Show Us Your Tongue!" video!

Year 7 Spelling Bee

 

Lots of year 7 classes are hard at work preparing for the National French Spelling Bee Competition. The contest takes place in 4 stages, starting with class competitions and moving onto a school competition before the regional and national finals. Which form will manage to impress the most with their fantastic spelling skills? 

Language Taster Club this week!

 

The first of our Language Taster club sessions took place this Tuesday in the MFL department. Pupils from Atlantic College came to introduce Arabic and Italian to Cowbridge pupils, including a workshop on how to write your name in Arabic and an introduction to all things Italian!

 

 

The Language Taster Club takes place again next Tuesday (12th November) at 3:15 upstairs in B block. Come along and try something new - All year groups are welcome!
