MFL Visit to Cologne - Day 1!

The year 8 and 9 German visit to Köln (Cologne) is underway! Teachers and pupils set off at midnight on Wednesday 4th December. 

After a long night on the coach, we stopped at Aachen for our first taste of the German Christmas Markets. Pupils got their first opportunity to try out their German on the visit - wunderbar!

Pupils also sampled some of the local cuisine...

For dinner we went to a local sausage restaurant. Lecker schmecker!

Early to bed tonight - we're off to Phantasialand tomorrow. More updates and photos tomorrow to follow, stay tuned!
